Samoan Days Of The Week.

This week is Samoan language week, so I did the days of the week.

Writing

“Goodnight” says Mary to her mother. Her mother goes down stairs to make Mary some cookies for Mary’s bake sale tomorrow. 20 minutes later Mary’s mother forgets to turn off the oven and goes to sleep… 

Mary’s eyes were fireflies watching her house burn, her eyes started tearing up at the thought of her mum suffering inside but she knew that it was better if one of them survived then none of them, so she stayed outside crying

Her mum all of a sudden runs from the fire unbruised and uncut, Mary was overwhelmed with relief. She runs over to her mum and squeezes her in a hug. Mary crys tears of joy and wimpers “I thought you were gone.”

Luckly they had insurance so they rebuilt their house and lived happily ever after.

 

Literacy

 This week we used three different brainstorms, we used ones that had ideas, we used ones that showed characters and we used ones that had adjectives and verbs and nouns.

The one I like the most is the one that uses charcters because its easier to understand. 

Inquiry Project: England

 

For inquiry we had to do migration and why our reletives came here, this is my slideshow.

Tech

For tech we did design and robotics, it was not fun at all. I had a headache, never got listned to, got shouted at and they were very annoying. I hated it I would very much be doing math instead.

Maths - division

 

we did a quiz again but for division, I did this in 2mins and aced it again. Me and Jayden raced he was a second after me.

Maths

we did a quiz of our times tables and I aced it in 3mins.

For literacy we made gifs but mine didn't save so I will just put in the slideshow.

Literacy

for literacy we have been doing a lot of stuff on refugees and migrants, we had three refugees tasks which were super hard, they were a timeline on Nigerian attacks, refugee help lines and one were we make a map and show the main places the characters were in.

We also had a similes task which was understanding similes.

Tech

 For tech we continued what we did last week so I finished my pocket for my shorts.

And for robotics we did basically what we did last week so it was still boring...

Histogram and Stem and Leaf

 

For math we did stem and leaf and histograms. We got 26 numbers and we put them in a stem and leaf graph.

We also did a histogram called Visitors to the Park. A histogram has grouped data categories. There was 5 in 100-149, 7 in 150-199, 8 in 200-249, 1, in 250-299, 1 in 300-349, 1 in 350-399.

It looked like this. It is much different than a bar graph because of how the data is obtained. 

Fitness Term 2

For fitness we have groups so a "hard" group and a little less hard group. Obviously I picked the less hard one, we have to run one lap around the bike track in under 3 mins. It is hard but I manage to do it in under 2:30 mins.

Maths

 For math we have new groups (finally) I am with Nogo and we have been learning how to use a spreadsheet to do maths for you. It is fun, not hard and something I didn't know. I like maths with Nogo.

Tech

 For tech I am doing robotics and design.

In robotics we did coding, first we built our robot then we made a code, me and Angus did it super quickly so it wasn't that fun.

However design was a different story, we started to make a pocket to put on our shorts we were going to make and we put designs on our pockets my one was Ali-a sayings"its a dipalodonkolas". I liked design lots rather than robotics.
