                     My Dog Boo

We got Boo at Hamner Springs, we went their with the Rhodes. The Rhodes family consists of five family members, Ollie, Jack and Millah are the kids, youngest Millah with the Oldest being Jack. Russell and Gwen are the parents. So when we went to Hamner Springs with the Rhodes we were at a camping site with our tents up and then all of a sudden these Black Labs with the cutest Coal-like fur come zooming out and started licking us with their big slobbery tongues. It was love at first sight. Turns out that they were being adopted out and they were FREE. So each of our family's got one. We named ours Boo because she was a surprise and the Rhodes named theirs Bella and yes, it is just a coincidence that they both start with the English alphabetic letter B. Bella and Boo are both girls and sisters. When Boo was a puppy she always chewed on things. We just had to teach not to for maybe two years and then she became a loyal, no a outstanding dog. She let me when I was little sit on her back when we watched TV. She was what we think to be, one of the most humble and loyal dogs in the entire universe. She quickly became aware to the words beach or walk. She loved going on long walks on the beach I know that is a dating thing but she LOVED it. Then when my parents broke up I didn't realise at first but I was only like 6 or 7 but then after that I was depressed and my dog Boo was the only person I told. She always was a loyal dog. When we got our cats Lacey and Hendrix( read about them on My Cats.) Boo never chased them or barked or any of the stuff you expect infact her BOYFRIEND as we said was always Hendrix they always smooched and cuddled it was super cute. Then our auntie Mel got Honey her precious baby as she calls her. Boo slowly and gentilly introduced herself to Honey the covoodle (King Charles Cavalier crossed with a poodle). Then they were best friends forever or bff's. Then Maia one of my sisters wanted a rabbit so we got a rabbit called Poppy, Boo and Poppy were good friends but sadly Poppy had to be in her cage otherwise she'd pee and poo outside were we can't find them. Although before she wasn't allowed outside she and Boo always sat next to each other. When our grandpa Brian had passed away we had him cremated our grandma was so sad. Afew years later we went near Dunedin to a place called Warrington. We had to leave Boo with the Rhodes and they everyday came to feed Lacey, Hendrix and Poppy. When we were at Dunedin we went to were Cadburys chocolate making factory was in Dunedin. When we were there we also got a puppy called Arlo, me and him bonded well and at that time my mum was with my new step-dad Steve, Arlo was actually Steve's first ever pet. When we got home we introduced Boo to the newest family Member Arlo. They were BEST friends Boo showed Arlo what to do and they loved licking the dishwasher. Then that dreadful day came Boo always had a bad leg but she was in real pain so on 9th of may 2018 Boo had to get put down, I am still very sad but we made a massive book of messages for Boo and pictures but Steve is a GIFTED photographer so before she had to get put down he took an amazing photo of Boo that we have on our wall. Later that year Poppy died by some sort of disease from flies that was supposed to poison wild rabbits but sadly it poisoned Poppy we painted a rock with her name on it to remember her. Bella is still going hard at life which is great for the Rhodes and lately we got a new puppy called Pixel, The Rhodes got a new puppy called Molly as well which hopefully they don't get mixed up with Molly and Ollie. We think that Boo, grandpa and Poppy are looking down on us with big grins on their faces. So my message to any pet owners is spend as much great time with your pets because it always has to end so make it the best life your pets have.

Near friends and family were very weary about their sons/friends.
Zappy days narrowing ahead until that dreadful day.
A poppy can commemorate those brave soldiers who lost their lives.

Teddy

I got teddy on my first Christmas which was 3 months after I was born. I have been to Queenstown with teddy but the biggest place I have been to with teddy was Australia, surfers paridise. I have been looking after teddy ever since I got him 11 years ago. The worst thing that ever happened to him happened quite recently, what happened was Pixel(the golden puppy) jumped over the fence fat herself through the cat flap when she was inside along with peeing and pooing inside she bit teddy's leg off but before I got home my mum sew teddy's leg back together. I didn't notice for a while but when I saw him I gave teddy a hug. 

My grandma told me I used to say goodnight bebe. I couldn't say teddy back then so I said bebe. I used to bring teddy everywhere. But now he sits on my shelf or lies in my bed. We can't put any teddy on the window because no one would see it because we live down a long driveway and our letter box is at the end of our driveway with us.

Teddy has beige around his body and around his head, his ears and his face and his hands and feet. He wears a blue top with moons and stars. He wears no pants ( which is odd).

My teddy is my favourite plush toy.

I Am Arlo

I Am Arlo

I wake up to the sound of my human brother snoring like a sleepy bear. I wait until my human brother wakes up. I beg to get out but he grumbles "I will get dressed first". I stare at my other brother (he is a cat) he wants my human brother to not notice me by snuggling his chin while giving me a grin.

I get out and sprint into my human sister Ava's room. I spring myself onto the end of her bed and beg for pats by lying on my stomach and looking into her eyes because eyes are the window to the soul. I see my human brother Kaeden speed-walking down the hallway. Guess who's following him? My cat brother Hendrix, That's who!

When we get to the door I hear my dog sister Pixel faintly barking, I wonder why?, Then as if on que Kaeden tells me she's a puppy. I race around to her BIG crate, it is like 5 times my crate in size. Kaeden puts her bowl full of food outside, I know what he is doing. It is very smart if I do think so myself.

Then the first part of what he wants happens,my other. my OTHER human sister Maia comes in Kaeden tells her " when I say open her crate door. Kaeden is outside in the cold so I snuggle up to his leg for warmth. All of a sudden all I see is a ball of golden fur coming from my little sister Pixel. Kaeden taps on the door and I see Pixel race outside Kaeden whispers to Maia to shut the door with him and Pixel outside. It must have been cold but luckily for Kaeden Pixel went straight for her food so Kaeden opened the door zoomed inside then shut the door behind him. They wanted Pixel to pee outside otherwise Pixel would do a massive happy pee inside and human mum and dad would be angry.

Kaeden comes over to me and gives me big… pats. Also Hendrix wasn't around so that means soon I will get lots more pats. Kaeden chases me with a glowing sword thing I decide this might make a fun game so I jog away from the big not-so-hairy beast. We play that until Kaeden remembers about Pixel she had only gone for a pee but she needs to do three pee's.

Finally Ava is here she gives me the biggest pats while Kaeden gives Pixel even bigger ones mind-you she is much bigger than me and she's only a puppy. But being small has its advantages being adorable and being able to fit in small spaces and when we play tag I can fit underneath Kaeden's legs. Ava and me exchange cuddles and kisses then MUM walks in, yay.

She gives me big pats and Pixel. Then DAD walks in and gives me pats. I see Kaeden and decide to give him a snuggle. I cannot read clocks but I saw the numbers 12:30 and I recall this is usually the time they start feasting so I decide begging is my best option to get some extra food. So does Pixel she tries to eat Kaeden's delectable treat more thurrerly known as the great PEANUT BUTTER SANDWICH. I hear Kaeden mentioning my beautiful brown eyes. I thank him by touching his foot with my paw he seems to like it. I jump on the couch next to him and then Maia gives me a pat.

Then Kaeden puts away his plate and comes and sits next to me and gives me big… pats. While he gives me pats Pixel eats the crumbs on his seat. I think I will have a snooze see-ya when I wake up...

ANZAC DAY

ANZAC DAY

ANZAC means Australian and New Zealand Army Corps. This is the story of the ANZAC's . 1914 World War 1 started, by that time Australia had been under control from the British Empire for a thirteen years and New Zealand seven years. 1915 Australia and New Zealand were witnesses to the new army of volunteer soldiers, they went to Gallipoli Peninsula to claim Constantinople, the capital of the Ottoman Empire and one of Germany's allies. The ANZAC's landed on April 25th. But the Ottoman Turkish defenders were ready for the attack. The soldiers knew that they would never win but they still fought for eight months dealing with the difficult times, bloodshed and the loss of friends and family(over 8000 people died during those rough time's). 1915 marked the end of the battle for the surviving ANZAC's, they were successfully evacuated by the British. The story of the ANZAC's warriors who gave their lives in Gallipoli, hit the citizens of Australia and New Zealand so in 1916(while world War 1 was still going on), they made it April 25th the day those hero's are remembered for their sacrifices and their commitment to keep freedom at all costs ( so leaving their families to protect our countries Australia and New Zealand). Today we hold events to remember and express gratitude for those brave ANZAC soldiers who selflessly lost their lives to protect and serve our countries.

My Cats.

My cats.

My cats are called Lacey and Hendrix.
They are seven years old in human years, but in cat years they are forty-four years old.

We got them when I was four years old my youngest sister was only a wee one year old. They are Tabbys. I called Lacey, Lacey because I was thinking about poppies but I forgot what they were called so I just said "Lacey." My dad named Hendrix because my dad looks up to what he calls the most creative guitar player also known as Jimi HENDRIX. So that is how Hendrix or as we now nickname him Hene got his name. I don't know why we call Hene as a nickname.

His personality is more that he gets into a cat fight and then runs away, he loves chasing his sister even though he is not allowed. Now Lacey's personality is not sleep all day it is more try to catch birds or mice. So we have a literal scardy cat and a hunter. They are brother and sister we actually got them from trade me, they were abandoned and I only just asked my mum so now I feel extraordinarily happy we got them.

 At night either Hendrix or Lacey sleep in mine or Maia's or.. Ava's room. We used to call Lacey, Lacey loo loo but now it sounds like we're talking about the toilet. They are very mischievous and cute. The only way we can tell who's who is because Lacey has a white chin and Hendrix has a black and grey chin but now Lacey is much smaller than Hendrix. He is MASSIVE we all love the cats but I love them most.

Pixel is the most beautiful white-swiss Shepherd cross with a springer-spaniel. Pixel has the most beautiful golden fur it is lIke the golden sunset in the evening. Her beautiful dusty brown eyes. She has a lovely long snout and beautiful long ears. Pixel also has a massive tail that mum and Steve joke about saying her tail is longer than her legs. She is my favorite girl puppy alive.

Annoying my step-dad

I don't mean to sing,hum and talk every 2 seconds.

I know you tell me to shush for more than five minutes.

I think saying that I talk every five minutes is a compliment.

I am pleased I have a great step-dad otherwise you would freak out.

I play fortnite with you but that doesn't mean that I stop talking.

So basically you can never escape my insanity.

If it wasn't for Steve none of this would have happened.

Camp At Spencer Park

On Thursday March 6th we Biked down to Spencer park.

On The journey we had a lot of ups and downs literally we had to go over a lot of hills. The worst part was pushing my bike up this MASSIVE hill . The best part was being able to talk to my friends on the way there and back even if I was the last person they (Robbie) still stayed back but Rylin he just zoomed off ahead without a care in the world.

When we got to camp DRAMA stuck. So... when we got to camp me and Robbie were looking for the tent and when we found it and unpacked it we realised there were no poles!!! But 1 hour later Robbie started crying and saying he let everyone down but we reassured him that everyone makes mistakes and we could ask Sharon for a spare but he said he did not want to be there anymore but we still got a tent  from Sharon. 

When we put up the tent Robbie was still crying so Sharon called his mum and asked were the poles were and Robbie´s mum said ¨Its in a different bag with the name rothgat (or something like that).¨ so we looked for it so Robbie would stay. We found it and put it up with Sid´s dad leith.

 When it was done Robbie was soo happy and we were all stoked.we just said wow, this is a portable mansion. We all set up our beds and furniture and got food out for dinner. Then josh pushed his head to the window and said “egggggghhh” we said he was a mongoose we all laughed (including Josh.) 

Then at like 5pm we went to the MASSIVE bouncing pillow. We played a pushing game where we push each other off. Now that I am am looking back I realise that was not a good game at all. Zaza was just playing the game when Nick T got in a fight with him. We tried to stop them but it ended as quickly as it started. We played that game until we got called to make our dinner.  

What we had for dinner was supposed to be some of kebabs because I brought potatos, Zaza brought sausages, Rylin brought homemade rocky road (I think) and Robbie brought salad. Before camp I told Zaza to bring pre-heated sausages. So we asked Leith(Sids dad) how long it would take to cook sausages in a microwave. He said "at least three minutes." When we got back we used the skewers to pick up the food. 

When we were done we ate Rylins rocky road. Then we got called down to discuss a program called William Pike Challenge. Once the teachers had finished talking about W.P.C  (William Pike Challenge. ) We played a massive game of predator which is where you get 5 lives and try not to get tagged. 

At first me and Robbie did not try at all and we sat in chairs near where we started and all the parents walked right passed us and we cracked-up laughing and then a man came and tagged us and told us to run so we did. Next Robbie and me sat on a bench and by this point Robbie was taking it a lot more seriously so when a man came Robbie sprinted away and I got tagged and the man told me I should actually play so I did. I met up with Robbie near the bushes and we lied down with a whole bunch of people, When a rustle came from the Bush we all freaked out because next we heard a loud siren from behind us we all bolted away from there but sadly someone was to slow and got tackled down on the ground. Then the remaining few of us hid behind the entry sign, but we made to much noise and someone came to get us but forgot to take away one of our lives. Do we ran. The game ended i had three lives left (technically two). I had done it I didn't get found yus were free.

When was time to go to sleep we heard these people from our school shouting a chant. We were furious and enraged that they chose now to sing and shout. So we all chated and laughed until they stopped and got told to go to sleep.

The next morning I woke up by Robbie saying "Kaeden wake up." So I got up, got dressed and then Zaza woke up so we waited for him but Rylin still had not woken up after breakfast we went back to the tent to get ready to get all our stuff out and take down the tent but Rylin was sleeping like a sloth we could not wake him up until 9:30am. 

Then we unpegged the pegs and took down the poles and then since this MASSIVE tent had to fit in a tiny bag we had to have a teacher help us fold the tent. Once we had done that we went down to the MASSIVE bouncing pillow. We played until our friend Rhycos got in a fight with lauryn . 

After that we went to the camp site to go to our groups for activities. Me, Zaza and Sid went fishing . Me and Zaza didn't realize that most other people brought their own fishing rods so we got scared because we thought we were just going to watch for forty minutes, fortunately Dominic had two spare fishing rods. When we got to the waimakariri river mouth we put bait on and a sinker. I was definitely not an expert at fishing but luckily Zaza was. Once we were ready we fished I thought I had caught a wopper but sadly I had it stuck between two rocks so the line snapped. Then I shared a rod with Zaza. Thank you Nogo for taking us there and thank you Dominic for showing and lending us a rod. 

When that ended we all went back to the camp site and me and Robbie rode around on our bikes until it was lunch. LUNCH WAS DELICIOUS IT WAS SOO GOOD(sadly now I have forgotten what breakfast and lunch were so that sucks.). After that we packed our stuff on the backs of the school vans. 

Before we went back the walkers got to go back in a van. And we had to wait until like 2:00 pm me And Robbie were at the back of the pack and every one else with us got injuries by the time we where a kilometer away from school it was only me, Robbie and Noah and our teacher Mr Redmond. When we got back to school it was 3:30.
